The wise druids of old were a group of people from all races who strove to maintain world balance with mystical discipline and powerful magic. Affiliating yourself with the Druids faction will boost your magic capabilities and reward balancing of all things.
The Druid Faction EditThe Druids are part of the Neutral Factions that was implemented during the Ancient Races expansion. They feature a powerful Heritage that increases maximum mana, and their final Challenge reward extends their spell to affect more buildings, and can even be made to affect all buildings!
- Alignment: Neutral
- Faction Spell: Grand Balance - Increase the production of your least productive building based on the amount of the three most built ones for 20 seconds.
- Spell Upgrade: Halls of Balance - Increases Grand Balance duration to 24 seconds and lower its cost by 200 mana.
- Unlock requirement: Have Grand Balance affect Hall of Legends.
- Heritage: Increase maximum Mana by 1 every 15 buildings you own.
- Bloodline: Increase mana regeneration based on maximum mana.
Formula: 0.02 * m ^0.95, where m is your maximum mana. (non-linear value)
- Challenge Reward: Primal Balance - Grand Balance now affects extra buildings based on total mana spent, starting from the least to most productive building. To affect all 11 building tiers, you will need 10B mana produced (total).
Formula: floor (x0.2 / 10), where x is your Mana Produced (Total) stat. (or see mana required per building tier on the challenge page.)

To affiliate with a Neutral Faction, like for Vanilla Factions, you first need to choose the alignment. The alignment upgrade for Neutral Factions is called the Proof of Neutrality. It will automatically appear in your next run, once all the 3 Faction quest items have been collected.

To get the 1 M (1E6) Faction Coins for the Druidic Runestone:
Use the Elf faction for their Elven Luck upgrade (up to 100% chance of faction coins), or the Goblin for their Goblin Greed upgrade, or the Titan for their Lightning Strike spell.
Unique Building EditAt R22, Druid's Stone Pillars can be upgraded to a Unique Building: Stonehenge Circles, which is required for some challenges and research quests.
Druid Research Edit
Upon reaching R23, the game advisor tells us we have unearthed some ruins of the Ancient Races which might enable us to discover their research technology. The requirements can be done in different game plays.
To gain access to Druid research, you will need the "Secrets of the Ancients" upgrade. This upgrade will appear when you have both the Neutral Unique building and the Key to the Lost city artifact. The Key to the Lost city can be excavated in a separate run, and with any faction.
